Sport Canterbury are running a series of drop-in online webinars to answer any questions from clubs/modules who wish to apply for the Community Resiliance Fund. Please make sure you have a read of the information below for all the details and webinar times.
Helping your clubs apply for the Community Resilience Fund
Over the last week Sport New Zealand has released the Community Resilience Fund to support clubs facing financial hardship as a result of Covid-19.
The Fund is for organisations that are already materially negatively impacted by COVID-19 restrictions and/or will be materially negatively impacted by COVID-19 restrictions for the period April to June 2020.
For many eligible sports clubs across New Zealand, the Fund will provide significant short-term relief.
Please see the dates below from Sport Canterbury – a series of “Sports Help” sessions are scheduled this week, to support you with these questions:
• Are you eligible to apply for Sport New Zealand’s Community Resilience Fund?
• Can we assist you with your application process?
Jon, Jess, Mike and Tom will guide sports clubs through the process of applying for funding – how to determine if your club is eligible, and how to navigate the application process for Sport NZ’s Community Resilience Fund.
Over $400K has been administered to Canterbury West Coast sports and clubs over the first five working days; the Community Resilience Fund for the Canterbury West Coast region totals $1.7m. It is not too late to apply – please join us for a “Sports Help” zoom session this week to help you access short-term relief for your club.
